2mm, 4mm, 6mm apertures and an attenuator. The apertures reduce the output surface area of the Monet. 2mm reduces 89% of the surface area, 4mm reduces 47.7% of surface area, 6mm reduces 24% of the surface area. The Intensity Attenuator blocks 50% of the intensity of the light and not the surface area.
Apertures are for clinically different procedures, the attenuator was designed to use near sensitive oral tissue or near the pulpal floor.
