Many times we are asked "What type of connection do I have"?
There are a couple ways to know. First of all does your fiber cable attach to the front or back of the unit?
Front - You have an ST connection
Back - See below:
1. Look at serial number on bottom of machine. If your serial number starts with (DC or DL)15 OR LOWER you have an FC connection.
2. If your serial number starts with a16 (after the first letters) please refer to the picture below.
3. Identify which connection type you have by looking at the picture below.
