The addition of the Picasso laser was the best single thing that I have done for my practice in years. I can now offer services to my patients such as frenectomies, operculectomies and fibroma removal that take less time, do not require complicated suturing and heal a lot faster. Recently bought two Picasso diode lasers from AMD LASERS.
I also bought a Periolase Nd:YAG laser from Millenium two years ago for perio-surgery (cost about $70,000 and includes 5 days of training).
Even though the Periolase has the diode mode, I found myself using more of the Picasso diode laser everyday due to its small footprint and nice
features. I find myself using it more than 10 times daily. I am planning to buy 3 more of the Picasso for the other 3 treatment rooms.
This is definitely a valuable tool in my practice.
